Is this a Religious Site?

If by religious it is meant that this site advocates and promotes some specific ideology or world-view; then yes, this site and most all sites are "religious". But perhaps the difference in this site and some other sites that also promote ideas and world-views; this site is clear and open about it. For example, a liberal, left-wing site is also a "religious" site except that the religion it is promoting is liberalism, and often without openly admitting to it.

However, all ideas strongly held or promoted are of a type of devotion that could be called "religious".

If by "religious" a person means to constantly talk about god(s); again what is a "god" in the most plain sense but the focal point of any ideology. There seems to be people who make sports their "god" and then religiously "worship" it every Sunday (or whatever days their sport most plays). There are environmentalists that seem to make the Earth their "god" and doing things they think help the Earth their religion.

So, the God of this site is the God depicted in the Bible and the religion is the ideology of Christianity. And Christianity encompasses the promotion of freedom and education and aid to fellow man -- as has been shown in the FACT that it was Christianity that started most of the colleges and hospitals in America. It has been Christianity that was the foundation of freedom in America. It has been Christianity that considered that accepting or rejecting the ideology of Christianity is one of free conscience - that no one should be forced to adhere to Christianity; such often is case in Islamic countries where people are forced by law to accept Islam.

This site promotes this kind of ideology; an ideology that considers the "kingdom come" as the advancement of Christianity into every aspect of life. To that end, yes this site is religious. This site promotes freedom, education aid to fellow man; and freedom of conscience. You will see articles on this site that seem political but really they are simply a continued promotion of Christianity. Articles about songs. Articles about sciences. Articles about inventions and innovation -- all for the promotion of Christianity.
