American Patriotism

Before the penning of the Constitution, before the formation of the Bill of Rights as the first settlers came to these shores, the foundational principles of the American ideology were being formed. We see this at the pivotal point during the first colonies. The colonists brought the old world social & political ideology with them which was based on what was called Fiefdomism or Manorialism. Under that ideology, there was a sort of communal or socialistic system. As the American colonists tried to thrive in the harsh new world, this socialistic system was wreaking havoc. Some people would work while others sat around trying to reap the benefits of the community. It became apparent that some other system needed to be implemented. The colonists, being Christians looked to the Bible & from it they gleaned America ’s foundational ideology:

On the U.S. Economy

(see example here) From there, the containers are loaded onto trains or trucks & carried further inland.

Opposition does not equal advocacy

Todd Dennis, long time proponent of "full preterism" (rightly called "hyper-preterism" because it goes beyond biblical definition) has begun a new blog site where he plans to work on refuting the teaching he had embraced for over 13 years. This is significant because Dennis is credited with being perhaps the "founder" of the online expression of full preterism. Other hyper-preterist sites that now enjoy prominence actually directly lifted materials from Dennis' work...often without even crediting him.

One thing that Dennis points out on the new site is very important to note. Opposition does not equal advocacy. What he means by this is, that while there have been many people that oppose hyper-preterism, there needs to be a better job done in advocating the correct position.

We just finished seeing Ben Stein's new movie Expelled, No Intelligence Allowed, and we highly recommend it for your intellectual viewing pleasure. It is very well done as one might expect with Ben Stein involved.

If you vote for a Democrat...

The reason why I cannot see how ANY Christian can vote for a Democrat is not simply because the entire ideological platform of the Democrat Party is anti-Christian but because the very essence of the Democrat Party is anti-Christian AND anti-American (& guess what? I can say this ALL I want because this site is not a 501C3).

But maybe I won't be allowed to say this for long in America because someone might complain that my words are "disturbing the peace" --

This is exactly what happened recently to one of Obama's delegates. It seems some children were climbing in trees next to her house. The woman was concerned for the safety of the children & for the ornate tree & advised the children to get down (it is unclear if the tree was on their children's property, however the parents were outside observing the children). The delegate told the kids that "the tree is not there for them to be climbing like monkeys". The children are black so it was assumed there was a racial element to the comment.

Asteroid Destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah?

A Fox News article reports how researchers have found a tablet that supposedly records the destruction of Sodom & Gomorrah by an asteroid-like object. Even if this were true, it does not refute that such an event could have been caused by God, as depicted in the Bible. If anything, it only validates the Bible further as a book not of mere fables but of factual, historical events.

See the entire article here: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,343674,00.html

A true democracy is merely one step away from anarchy & it seems the world is quickly lurching ever closer to that possibility. How does this tie in with your blog & me allowing you to write here?

I thought this was funny. It depicts the implication that Obama wants to distance himself from Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton either because both Jackson & Sharpton represent the too "black" blackness or because both were failed candidates. You decide.

OpenOffice: A Microsoft Alternative

The company I work for is constantly increasing our workforce & with that is the need for more computers & with the need for more computers comes the need to license the software on those computers (unless you're the type that thinks it is ethical to hack everything).

This can quickly become expensive so our IT department came up with an alternative. OpenOffice is a freeware system comparable to Microsoft's Office package (Excel, Word, Access...).

As our office's unofficial Excel guru it is my job to help implement this portion of the package. At first I didn't think too highly of the package but now I've even downloaded it on my home computer & more than likely will remove my old Microsoft package.

Talk about Prophetic...

Watch what happens right after a Hillary Clinton press conference...

This will be what happens to our nation if we elect her.

She even comments "that the bases [of the flags] are not weighted enough" -- Yes Mrs. Clinton, when things have poor foundations they tend to fall over, & the socialistic America you are trying to construct is just like that -- no foundation.

How to become President

It seems the first rule in running for U.S President is to PANDER: Pander to everyone & offend no one. This is just another side effect of the "love wins" socialistic nicey-nice mentality not only infecting politics but every aspect of society -- including the Church.

A recent example of this pandering came during & after an interview with John McCain & his 95 year old mother. (source) During the MSNBC interview, McCain's mother showed open dislike of Mormonism saying about Mitt Romney & Mormons in general:

Perpetual Motion Machine

Ok so, I've always had a fascination with mechanisms -- especially how so-called ancient people were often able to perform feats that even today with all our "advanced" machines would be incapable to perform.

One such "ancient" known for his inventions was Heron (or Hero) of Alexandria. He actually had invented a steam-engine 2,000 years before it's official acceptance that ushered in our modern "industrial age".

Most of my young & adult life, I've given thought to energy sources & "perpetual motion machines". A perpetual motion machine is considered theorectically impossible because according to laws of physics -- it always takes energy to produce energy & the energy that is produced loses some quality in the process, requiring more of the outside energy source to keep the process going.

Think of it this way, imagine you had two generators. Generator #1 was gas powered & Generator #2 was being powered by the output of Generator #1 & in turn Generator #2 fed power back to Generator #1. Perhaps you might think that once Generator #1 ran out of gas, both generators would continue running because they were now feeding each other power -- but there is energy loss in the conversion & once the main source of energy (gas) ran out, both generators would stop working.
