$1 Moves You In -- and -- destroys the economy

America finds itself in a present financial crisis, with talks of bailouts & collapse of the markets.  Some people are blaming what they call greedy business people, some people are actually claiming it is capitalism & the freemarket at fault.  If only we had seen the signs...no not the signs of this present gloom but the signs that for the last decade have been posted in front of many of the new home editions around the country.  You know, you've seen the signs such as:

  • $1 Moves You In
  • No Credit, No Problem
  • Bad Credit, No Problem

No folks, those signs aren't reflective of capitalism nor are they reflective of American principles.  We see these signs & statements not only in the housing market but also other industries.   It is offensive to think someone can gain what it takes honest people years of hard work to obtain. 

 

So, why would these lending institutions knowingly do such a stupid thing?  Well, besides the day after day barrage of socialistic mindset we all face from the media, be it about global warming or nationalized health care these institutions were actually forced by the socialistic politicians of America, often called Democrats to extend credit to people who would otherwise not be able to afford it.  This is just more of the societal tinkering in which Democrats are constantly engaging.  They claim it is "unfair" for one person to have more than another -- even if one works for it & the other just sticks his hand out.  They create class envy & class warfare which amounts to nothing less than inciting riots until the rich are taxed at higher percentages & no one bats an eye.

This present crisis was NOT caused by greedy business practices or by free market mentality (for no true capitalist would loan to someone who so obviously could never repay the debt).  This present crisis & past & future ones are caused by the liberal & socialistic programs foisted on this country -- either via community organizers or bleeding-heart politicians with their hand in our pockets.

Whatever solution comes about, it better include rolling back the handout mentality that has brought about this crisis.  There was a time in this country when it was based on the strong & biblical principle: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat" (2 Thes 3:10) which is the same principle that guided the very founding of America. Unfortunately, it appears that the same politicians that erroneously think America is a "democracy" instead of a republic will be the same politicians that will use this crisis to lead America further into socialism & closer to dying the death that eventually happens to every socialistic system.
